Quality Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Software Tester / QA Tester to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our software applications. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, preparing test cases, executing functional and regression testing, identifying defects, and coordinating with the development and product teams for resolution.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on requirements.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT testing.
- Execute test cases and document test results.
- Identify, report, and track software defects using issue/bug-tracking tools.
- Re-test fixed defects and ensure proper closure.
- Perform testing of web-based applications and mobile applications.
- Verify UI, functionality, validations, workflows, and data accuracy.
- Coordinate with developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams to understand and resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement discussions and provide inputs from a testing perspective.
- Perform API and database testing as required.
- Prepare and maintain testing documentation and reports.
- Ensure the application meets business requirements and quality standards.




- Support production/UAT testing and assist in resolving reported issues.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of Software Testing and QA processes.
- Strong knowledge of STLC and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience in writing test cases and test scenarios.
- Valuable knowledge of Functional and Regression Testing using Automation Tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman is an advantage.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira or similar tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in testing ERP, School Management Software, SaaS, or Web Applications will be preferred.
- Experience in Mobile App and AI Testing will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with knowledge of both manual and automation testing will be preferred.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certification in Software Testing/QA will be an advantage.

Experience 2-5 years of experience in Software Testing/Quality Assurance.
