About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in automating both Web and Mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing and maintaining automation frameworks, developing robust automated test scripts, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through automation. The candidate should be passionate about quality engineering, automation best practices, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web and Mobile applications.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Appium.
- Automate functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Develop reusable automation components by following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Perform API testing and API automation using Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
- Execute cross-browser and cross-device automation testing to ensure application compatibility.
- Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
- Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Continuously enhance automation coverage, framework stability, and overall testing efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain automation documentation, test reports, and defect logs.

Required Skills &

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering,



or a related field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for Web Automation.
- Hands-on experience with Appium for Mobile Automation (Android and/or iOS).
- Experience with automation testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
- Strong knowledge of API Testing and API Automation using Postman and REST Assured.
- Good understanding of SQL for database validation and backend testing.
- Experience with Maven, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of automation framework design, including Page Object Model (POM), Hybrid Framework, and Data-Driven Framework.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Knowledge of Cucumber (BDD).
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with mobile device testing across multiple platforms and operating systems.

Mandatory Requirement Candidates must have hands-on experience in both Web Automation and Mobile Automation.

- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver for Web Automation.
- Strong experience with Appium for Mobile Automation.

Candidates with experience in only Web Automation or only Mobile Automation will not be considered.
