Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Purchase Manager with a strong background in the Water Purifier Manufacturing Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, components, and packaging materials, managing vendors, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely procurement to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for production and operations.
- Source and purchase raw materials, RO/UV/UF components, electrical parts, plastic components, filters, membranes, pumps, and packaging materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely material availability.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Accounts departments.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement accordingly.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase reports.
- Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards and company specifications.
- Develop cost reduction strategies while maintaining quality and delivery commitments.





Required Skills
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Experience in sourcing Water Purifier components and manufacturing materials.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
- Solid planning, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Procurement or Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.

Experience
- 3–7 years of experience as a Purchase Manager or Senior Purchase Executive.
- Experience in the Water Purifier Manufacturing Industry is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in vendor development, cost negotiation, and procurement planning.
