About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers and CAD Experts with expertise in 3D modeling, product design, GD&T;, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing engineering to contribute to advanced AI research and evaluation projects. You'll apply your engineering knowledge to evaluate technical content, analyze design solutions, and help improve the reasoning and performance of next-generation AI systems.
No prior AI experience is required. Your engineering expertise and real-world design experience are the primary qualifications for success in this role. Professionals with solid backgrounds in mechanical product development, CAD modeling, DFM, and manufacturing processes are especially encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
• Develop, review, and evaluate mechanical design solutions for components, assemblies, and engineering systems.
• Apply expertise in CAD modeling,



geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;), and engineering drawings to assess technical content and AI-generated outputs.
• Analyze and provide recommendations for design for manufacturability (DFM), tolerance stack-up analysis, and production feasibility.
• Evaluate engineering drawings and models for accuracy, functionality, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Apply knowledge of engineering mechanics, tribology, and geometric modeling to solve complex design challenges.
• Review and improve graphical representations and technical documentation for mechanical assemblies and products.
• Translate complex mechanical engineering concepts into clear, structured explanations to support AI training and evaluation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure engineering accuracy, consistency, and quality.
