Operating in a highly regulated business which mandates heightened focus on statutory compliance with zero tolerance. In-house lawyers have to be equipped to provide both proactive and reactive support to ensure business continuity whilst hedging against financial/ non-financial risks. Uncertainty and dynamic nature of the regulatory framework and judicial developments warrants astute legal advice to support business.

Job Challenges:

The major challenge for the job is effective improvisation in order to achieve the business objectives amidst the rigidity and rigour of the legal framework.
Uncertain legal environment and potential risk from recent enactments/judgments.
Bringing speed and transparency in the existing business processes,



mitigating risk and ensuring right solutions are proactively implemented so that liabilities are not recurring.

KRA1 Commercial Documentation

Drafting and reviewing various kinds of agreements and other legal documents to ensure that legal risks are minimized or eliminated and also ensure compliance of Company’s internal risk parameters/policies as well as applicable laws or regulations.
Standardizing of agreements.
Detailed review of legal documents to identify potential risks to the business.
Raise red flags and make recommendations to the business to resolve issues.
Participate in meetings with counterparts’/business team to discuss and negotiate the terms of contracts.
Quick turnaround of documents.
