The Associate Medical Manager – Hospitals will support the Medical Affairs
function for the Anti-infectives portfolio with a strong focus on upcoming
antibiotics launches in the hospital segment.
This is a hybrid role involving approximately 7–8 days per month of field work
engaging hospital-based healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders, while
the remaining time will be spent at the Head Office supporting medical strategy,
evidence generation, scientific communication, and cross-functional initiatives.
The incumbent will play a key role in strengthening scientific engagement,
supporting launch excellence, promoting antimicrobial stewardship, and ensuring
ethical and compliant dissemination of medical information.
* Develop solid scientific expertise in anti-infectives/antibiotics, including
mechanism of action, antimicrobial resistance, treatment guidelines, and
clinical evidence.
* Provide scientific support to internal stakeholders including Marketing,
Sales, Market Access, and Commercial teams.
* Keep abreast of evolving antimicrobial resistance trends, stewardship
practices, and hospital treatment protocols.
* Support development and delivery of scientific training programs for internal
teams.
FIELD MEDICAL ENGAGEMENT
* Conduct approximately 7–8 days of field visits per month to engage with:
* Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
* Infectious Disease Specialists
* Intensivists
* Microbiologists
* Hospital Pharmacists
* Lead scientific discussions on antibiotic therapy, antimicrobial resistance,
stewardship, and appropriate patient selection.
* Support pre-launch and launch activities through effective scientific
positioning of products.
* Gather field insights to strengthen medical strategy and brand planning.
