Position Purpose: Obsolescence Coordinator
The role will report hierarchically to Head ISPL CTO Office and for Banking APS and functionally to the Global Infrastructure Lead in the central CTO Office.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
The person will be responsible for the obsolescence management for all applications included into Banking IT applications. Banking IT is managing all payments for BNP CIB and so the applications are very criticals. In this context the obsolescence management is very critical for the entity. It could avoid to have some vulnerabilities and so be in risk against attacks.
The person will be in charge of controlling that no asset is obsolete or close to be and see with all teams that an actions plan exist to resolve. The person will have to challenge them and verify that the one are implemented on time.
The person will have to present to the board the obsolescence results for all Banking IT.
Contributing Responsibilities
The prerequisites for addressing obsolescence may be provided by the infrastructure team or other relevant teams. The Obsolescence Manager will be responsible for consolidating this information and communicating the corresponding plans to all Banking IT teams. If certain topics are not covered or are not aligned with Banking IT requirements, the Obsolescence Manager will coordinate with the infrastructure teams to clarify and resolve the gaps
