Hiring: Senior VMware Engineer (Automation)

We are looking for an experienced Senior VMware Engineer with strong expertise in VMware infrastructure, virtualization, cloud automation, and enterprise datacenter technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with VMware products, automation, and infrastructure design in large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support VMware enterprise infrastructure.
Manage software, hardware, capacity planning, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
Develop, maintain, and enhance VMware automation solutions.
Analyze automation requirements and assist with VCF automation initiatives.
Support testing, validation, and deployment of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9).
Implement high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and virtualization solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure performance and reliability.

Required Skills




8+ years of VMware administration and enterprise infrastructure experience.
VCP and/or VCAP Certification (Mandatory).
Hands-on experience with 3 or more of the following:
VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
vSphere
vSAN
NSX
Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
Horizon
Workspace ONE
vCloud Director (vCD)
Experience with VMware automation, scripting, and infrastructure management.
Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware ESXi, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
Experience with SAN (FC/iSCSI), vSAN, VADP-based backup solutions, and capacity planning.
Knowledge of networking, cloud management, and automation.
ITIL Foundation Certification preferred.

Preferred Skills
Shell scripting and automation.
VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9) exposure.
Storage, Security, Windows AD, Disaster Recovery, and Cloud Automation experience.
Solid troubleshooting, design, and stakeholder management skills.
