Key Responsibilities

Safety Monitoring Compliance

- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.

- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, safety standards, and statutory regulations.

- Monitor contractor and employee compliance with safety requirements.

- Verify proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Risk Assessment Work Permits

- Participate in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA).

- Assist in preparing Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for critical activities.

- Ensure Permit to Work (PTW) requirements are followed before work commencement.

- Monitor high-risk activities such as:

- Work at Height

- Electrical Work

- Hot Work

- Lifting Operations

- Confined Space Entry

Training Awareness

- Conduct Safety Induction for new employees and contractors.

- Deliver Daily Toolbox Talks and safety briefings.

- Promote safety awareness campaigns and behavioral safety initiatives.

- Educate workers on emergency procedures and secure work practices.

Incident Management

- Report and investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.

- Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

- Maintain incident records and prepare investigation reports.

Emergency Preparedness

- Support emergency response activities and mock drills.





- Ensure firefighting equipment and first-aid facilities are available and functional.

- Coordinate with emergency response teams during emergencies.

Documentation Reporting

- Maintain inspection reports, training records, PTW records, and safety observations.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports.

- Update safety statistics and compliance records.

Qualifications

Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.

- Certification in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH (preferred).

- Knowledge of statutory safety requirements and construction/industrial safety practices.

Additional Information

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of HSE regulations and safety standards.

- Understanding of HIRA, JSA, and PTW systems.

- Basic knowledge of fire safety and emergency response.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Ability to prepare reports and conduct training sessions.
