Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Head to lead the procurement function for our construction projects. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the construction industry, a robust vendor network across Patna and Bihar, and proven expertise in sourcing construction materials, negotiating commercial terms, and managing procurement operations across multiple project sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end procurement for building and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and maintain a robust network of suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors.
- Source construction materials, machinery, and services at competitive prices while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and annual rate contracts with vendors.
- Conduct market surveys to identify cost-saving opportunities and reliable suppliers.
- Coordinate with project, planning, store, and accounts teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Visit project sites,



for procurement audits, vendor evaluations, and material verification.
- Monitor procurement budgets, vendor performance, and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.

Requirements
- 10–15 years of procurement experience in the construction industry.
- Strong network of vendors and suppliers across Patna and Bihar.
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation, commercial, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/procurement software.
- Willingness to travel regularly to project sites for audits and procurement reviews.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in real estate, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to build strategic supplier partnerships and drive cost optimization initiatives.

Immediate Joiners Preferred Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
