- Purchase of raw material & packing material.
- Negotiating prices and commercial terms with vendors
- Monitoring and maintaining right inventory levels of raw material at different manufacturing locations
- Monitoring movement of finished goods from manufacturing location to distributor / customer location
Co-ordinating with C&F; agents, transporters and government officials
Preferred candidate profile
Graduate in any discipline with minimum 3 years in purchase department.
The candidate should preferably have experience in purchase of fresh fruits & vegetables in bulk with knowledge of seasonal and locational availability.
