Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and well-connected PR Executive to manage public relations and communication activities for a political team. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with media, coordinating press activities, managing public communications, and supporting the overall public image of the leader/organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media houses, journalists, reporters, and local influencers.
- Coordinate press conferences, media interactions, interviews, and public events.
- Prepare and distribute press releases, media briefs, statements, and official communications.
- Coordinate with the political team for campaigns, rallies, public meetings, and outreach programs.
- Monitor news, media coverage, and public sentiment related to the leader/organization.
- Ensure timely communication of important announcements and political activities to relevant media contacts.
- Handle media queries and coordinate responses with the concerned team.




- Build positive visibility and maintain a consistent public image and communication strategy.
- Maintain an updated database of media contacts and track media coverage.
- Coordinate with the social media, content, and creative teams for consistent messaging across platforms.
- Assist in crisis communication and reputation management when required.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Political Science, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in PR, media relations, political communications, journalism, or a similar role.
- Strong network and relationships with local and political media will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, writing, networking, and coordination skills.
- Robust understanding of political news, local issues, and media trends.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel and attend rallies, meetings, public events, and campaigns as required.
- Strong Marathi and Hindi communication skills; English proficiency will be an added advantage.
