Role Description The Proposal Manager role at Cic Engineers is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division.

The Proposal

Manager will coordinate the development of technical and commercial proposals for engineering products, control panels, and instrumentation solutions. Daily responsibilities include reviewing tender documents, gathering inputs from engineering and sales teams, preparing proposal outlines, and drafting explicit, compliant proposal content. The role involves managing proposal timelines, ensuring accurate cost estimates, and organizing required documentation for submissions.

Manager will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, track proposal status, and contribute to continuous improvement of proposal templates and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong proposal development skills, including planning, drafting, and finalizing technical and commercial proposals
- Ability to analyze tender requirements, interpret technical specifications, and align proposals with client needs
- Experience collaborating with engineering, sales, and project teams to gather and validate information
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple proposals and deadlines
- Knowledge of engineering products, control panels, and instrumentation systems is highly beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Prior experience in proposal management, bid coordination, or sales support in an engineering or industrial environment is an advantage
