Role Description This is a full time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based at NIARC in Koyilandy. The Occupational Therapist will assess children’s functional abilities, sensory needs, and developmental levels, and develop individualized therapy plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.



Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions to improve fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and play skills, and documenting progress using standardized tools and clinical observations. The role involves educating families on home-based activities, assistive devices, and strategies that support daily living skills, as well as participating in regular review meetings and progress conferences. The Occupational Therapist will also contribute to program development, maintain accurate records, and uphold ethical and safety standards in all interventions.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and evidence-based pediatric practice.
