We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) with 2-5 years of hands-on experience managing MySQL and PostgreSQL databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database performance, availability, security, and reliability across production and development environments.
Strong hands-on experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL administration.
Good understanding of database architecture, indexing, and query optimization.
Experience with backup and recovery tools and procedures.
Knowledge of replication, failover, and high availability configurations.
Experience in performance tuning and monitoring tools.
Robust SQL knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
System and Tools
Experience working on Linux-based environments.
Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, or similar) for automation.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., database monitoring, system monitoring).
Understanding of data security and access control mechanisms.
