About the Role
We are hiring two Legal Counsels to handle MSME delayed payment claims and debt recovery for our clients, in a client-facing role.

You will work directly with the businesses we onboard onto our platform helping them get set up, structuring their invoices and payment terms so they hold up if payment is challenged, and building the documentation trail that makes money recoverable later. Most payment disputes are lost in loose paperwork long before anyone files anything. Your first job is to close those gaps.

When a payment does go bad, you act on it: legal notices, recovery strategy, and filing delayed payment applications under Sections 15–18 of the MSMED Act, 2006 on the MSME Samadhaan portal through objections, MSEFC hearings, and on to recovery.





You will spend most of your day talking to clients.

Who Tends to Do Well Here
You are likely a fit if you have done any of the following:

MSME delayed payment work from any side — supplier, buyer, consulting, or advisory
In-house legal or legal-collections at an NBFC, bank, fintech lender, or HFC
In-house counsel at a manufacturing, trading, or B2B services company handling vendor and customer payment disputes, debit notes, and deduction claims
A law firm practice acting for lenders or suppliers
Commercial contracts work with real exposure to payment terms, interest, and dispute clauses

What we need you to already have is real experience chasing money: notices, defaulters, negotiation, and the judgement to tell a claim worth pursuing from one worth closing.
