About the Role
The Linux Device Driver position is crucial for our ongoing projects, requiring a skilled professional with 5-10 years of experience in developing and maintaining device drivers for Linux systems. The role involves working closely with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Linux device drivers.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to understand device specifications.
Debug and troubleshoot driver issues in a timely manner.
Optimize driver performance and ensure compatibility with various Linux distributions.
Document driver development processes and maintain code quality standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in Linux device driver development.
Required Skills
Proficiency in C programming language.
Strong understanding of Linux kernel architecture.
Experience with debugging tools and techniques.
Familiarity with hardware interfaces and protocols.
Preferred Skills
Linux kernel driver development experience.
Knowledge of Framebuffer and/or DRM/KMS architecture.
Hands-on experience with multimedia drivers (Display, Camera, Video).
Pay range and compensation package
The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
