Job Purpose: As a Blasting Officer, the primary responsibility is to oversee and
coordinate all aspects of designing, planning, and executing drilling and
blasting operations within the mine.



This involves ensuring adherence to safety
guidelines, government regulations, and company policies. Key duties include
conducting daily toolbox talks, planning and executing drilling and blasting
activities as per company SOPs and regulatory guidelines, guiding shift incharge
for protected and productive operations, coordinating with colliery engineers, and
ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules and record-keeping requirements.
Additionally, the role involves managing contractors, fostering a culture of
safety, and implementing measures to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and
improve overall operational efficiency.
