What will your day look like.
Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, views, and ETL processes.
Architect and implement database solutions on Azure using services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, and related components.
Optimize and tune SQL queries, indexes,
and database configurations for high performance and reliability.
Implement and maintain data security, backup/recovery, and high availability/disaster recovery strategies.
Collaborate with architects, application developers, BI/analytics teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical database designs.
Review and enforce development standards, best practices, and code quality for SQL and data solutions.
Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
Contribute to capacity planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement of database and data platform capabilities.
Skills and experience that will lead to success.
6+ years of hands-on experience in SQL Server development and database design.
Expert-level proficiency with T-SQL (complex queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views).
Solid experience in logical and phys
