SAP SD Consultant–AMS Support (Automotive)

Role Overview:

Zensar is looking for an experienced SAP SD Consultant with Tier‑1 automotive domain expertise to support AMS engagements for global OEM and automotive clients. The role involves L2/L3 support, EDI/IDoc issue resolution, minor enhancements, and continuous improvement in a high‑volume, SLA‑driven support setting.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ AMS Support & Incident Management
Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP SD module
Resolve incidents, service requests, and defects within SLA timelines
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive fixes
Ensure business continuity for critical automotive operations

✅ Automotive Process Support
Support automotive‑specific SD processes, including:
Scheduling Agreements (JIT / JIS scenarios)
High‑volume order processing




Customer‑specific contracts & pricing
Ensure smooth execution of OEM and Tier‑1 supply chain processes

✅ EDI / IDoc & Interface Support
Monitor and resolve EDI / IDoc issues (ORDERS, DELFOR, DESADV, INVOIC)
Coordinate with middleware teams (PI/PO, CPI, third‑party EDI tools)
Ensure uninterrupted data exchange with OEM systems

✅ Enhancements & Change Requests
Handle minor enhancements and configuration changes
Prepare Functional Specifications (FS)
Coordinate with ABAP team for development and testing
Support transport management and release cycles

✅ Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as functional SPOC for SAP SD AMS support
Engage with global automotive clients (US / EU / APAC)
Participate in SLA reviews, governance calls, and reporting

✅ Testing & Documentation
Perform unit testing, SIT, and UAT support
Maintain SOPs, KT documents, and knowledge base
Ensure audit‑ready documentation and compliance
