Title of project: Development and Pilot Testing of a Multidisciplinary Care Package for Endometriosis in Indian Public Tertiary Hospitals: EndoCare India Funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research.

Project position-: Project Research Scientist II (Medical)

No. of Vacancy-: one

Consolidated Salary-: Rs.1,04,000/- per month (Rs.80,000/- plus 30% HRA)

Essential Qualification-: MBBS with three years postqualification experience OR MBBS + Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB/MPH) or any equivalent degree, including integrated PG degrees OR MBBS with PhD

Desirable Qualification-: Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology / Community Medicine / Public Health / MPH will be preferred.

Experience in womens health, reproductive health, gynaecology, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, infertility or related clinical research.

Experience in hospital-based clinical research, multicentric studies, patient recruitment, clinical data collection and follow-up.

Experience in preparation of IEC documents, study protocols, SOPs, case record forms, informed consent forms and patient information sheets.

Familiarity with multidisciplinary care, referral pathways, patient navigation, care coordination and hospital-based service delivery research.

Proficiency in MS Office, data management, basic statistical analysis and scientific writing. Prior experience in endometriosis, infertility, chronic pelvic pain, womens health clinics or gynaecology OPD-base.

Age Limit-: 40 Years

Duration-: Initially for a period of one year. Further extension may be granted based on project requirements, availability of funds and satisfactory performance of the candidate. The total project duration is four years.

Job Responsibilities-:



• Assist the Principal Investigator in day-to-day coordination and implementation of the EndoCare India project.

- Coordinate with study sites, including BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai and AIIMS Raipur, for smooth implementation of project activities.
- Support preparation of IEC documents, administrative approvals, project correspondence and study-related documentation.
- Assist in development of study protocol, SOPs, case record forms, referral pathways, patient information sheets, consent forms, training material and patient education material.
- Support screening, recruitment, informed consent, clinical assessment and follow-up of women with suspected or confirmed endometriosis as per study protocol.
- Coordinate with gynaecologists, nurses, pain specialists, physiotherapists, mental health professionals, radiologists and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Support patient navigation, referral tracking, MDT coordination, care plan documentation and follow-up monitoring.
- Assist in qualitative interviews, focus group discussions, stakeholder consultations, co-design workshops and Delphi process.
- Ensure accurate data collection, data entry, data verification, data cleaning and maintenance of study records.
- Support training and orientation of project staff, healthcare providers and other stakeholders.
- Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, presentations and other project documents.
- Contribute to data analysis, report writing, manuscript preparation, conference presentations and dissemination of findings.
- Perform any other project-related duties assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Place of Posting-: ICMR-National Institute for Research on Womens Health, J M Street, Parel, Mumbai. The selected candidate will be required to travel to the study sites, including BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai and AIIMS Raipur per project requirements under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
