About the Role

The Assistant Professor – Management (Research & Development) will be responsible for promoting a solid research culture within the university through high-quality research, project development, proposal writing, publication support, innovation initiatives, and collaboration with faculty members and external agencies. The role focuses primarily on research and development activities rather than regular classroom teaching.

Responsibilities

Research & Publication
Conduct high-quality research in Management and related interdisciplinary domains.
Publish research papers in Scopus, ABDC, Web of Science, and other reputed indexed journals.
Assist faculty members in preparing and publishing research manuscripts.




Identify emerging research trends and opportunities in Management and allied fields.
Maintain records of research publications, citations, and research impact metrics.

Research Project Development
Prepare and submit research proposals for funding agencies such as UGC, AICTE, ICSSR, DST, SERB, and other national/international bodies.
Support faculty members in grant writing, project budgeting, and project management.
Monitor ongoing research projects and ensure compliance with funding agency requirements.

Innovation & Development
Facilitate interdisciplinary research collaborations across departments.
Promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-oriented research initiatives.
Assist in developing research frameworks, policies, and best practices.
Support patent filing, copyright applications, and intellectual property-related activities.
