The Chance:
As SCM External Regulatory Compliance Data & Project Senior Specialist, you will help shape how Hitachi Energy manages regulatory compliance data, supplier-facing workflows, and digital tools across global Supply Chain Management.
You will be part of the SCM External Regulatory Compliance Team, which builds global processes and tools to support compliance, improve data quality, and simplify how we respond to fast-evolving regulations.
In this role, you will support high-impact regulations such as CBAM, EUDR, CRMA, EU Battery Regulation, PPWR, and other ESG-related supply chain requirements. Your work will help turn complex regulatory requirements into reliable data, practical workflows, supplier processes, and scalable digital solutions.




A key focus will be supporting and driving the implementation of the new CBAM application, including user testing, business walkthroughs, data validation, training input, go-live readiness, hypercare, and future improvements. You will also support the integration of GTS data into the CBAM app, helping reduce manual effort and improve the quality and traceability of trade data.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Consolidate, validate, and maintain regulatory compliance data required for CBAM, EUDR, and other SCM regulatory reporting processes.
Analyze import, supplier, product, material, emissions, customs, and country-of-origin data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and reporting risks.
Support recurring and ad hoc regulatory reporting by ensuring data is complete, traceable, and available before submission deadlines.
Maintain structured records, audit evidence, reporting assumptions, and validation outputs to support defensible compliance.
