General Summary:
As a member of Qualcomm’s HR Shared Services team, you will thrive in a dynamic contact center setting, dedicated to addressing and resolving HR inquiries from employees, managers, and fellow HR team members. In this role, you will provide essential support for global HR policies, programs, processes, and human capital tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Human Resources work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 8+ years of Human Resources work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of Human Resources work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Human Resources, or related field.
• 8+ years of HR Shared Services or Human Resources work experience.
• 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
• 2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Sr Director level and above).
• 2+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Documents accurate case notes for complex inquiries following each phone call, webportal chat, or online employee case submission; guides others to open case management tickets for any unresolved issues and refers case to the appropriate expert for problem resolution.
• Uses FAQs, scripts, and leverages advanced HR knowledge to assist employees at all levels; searches HR webportal and knowledge base system for relevant information to provide answers to employee questions; coaches other team members to understand and apply advanced concepts to complete tasks and make informed decisions.
• Manages any problems encountered while using HR self-service too
