- Project evaluation: Assess scope, feasibility, and risks of proposed projects.
- Cost estimation: Prepare detailed budgets and financial forecasts.
- Proposal negotiation: Engage with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders
to finalize terms.
- Infrastructure planning: Identify and arrange facilities, utilities, and
equipment required for manufacturing.
- Process planning: Develop workflows and schedules for infrastructure setup.
- Plant erection: Oversee installation, commissioning, and safety compliance.
- Trial runs: Conduct initial production trials to validate performance.
- Handover: Transition the project smoothly to the production team with documentation and training.
Preferred candidate profile
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or
Project Management.
- 8-12 years of experience in manufacturing project execution (preferably in
Switchgear or related industry).
- Robust knowledge of manufacturing infrastructure, utilities, and safety standards.
- Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, SAP) is prefered.
