POSITION SUMMARY

The Design Engineer is responsible for the design and engineering of pump
packages, pump components, layouts, and associated project technical
documentation. This role supports the delivery of secure, high-quality,
manufacturable, and customer-focused engineered solutions in alignment with
Flowserve standards, processes, and business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design and develop pump packages, pump components, hydraulic systems, and
related assemblies using 2D and 3D CAD tools, primarily SolidWorks.
* Prepare detailed engineering drawings, models, layouts, bills of materials,
and project-related technical documentation.
* Ensure product safety through sound engineering design, review, and
verification practices; actively champion Flowserve safety policies and
procedures within the workplace.
* Perform varied and complex engineering assignments with minimal supervision,
applying appropriate judgment, technical expertise, and prioritization.
* Review and check own work as well as design and drafting work completed by




team members to ensure compliance with engineering requirements, drafting
standards, and applicable codes.
* Apply strong knowledge of GD&T;, machining drawing practices, tolerancing,
material selection, and design-for-manufacturability principles.
* Support cross-functional operational and functional initiatives,
collaborating effectively with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, project
management, and business units.
* Create, structure, and maintain accurate bills of materials in accordance
with established engineering and product configuration processes.
* Process and release engineering drawings through Nexus; support BOM
activities in Oracle or similar ERP systems as required.
* Drive engineering performance against key measures, including on-time
delivery, quality, utilization, efficiency, and customer responsiveness.
