Role





The Assistant Village Director leads an SOS Children's Village and is responsible for its overall development. This includes ensuring quality childcare within the SOS family model, supporting coworkers, guiding SOS mothers, and making sure every child's individual needs and rights are respected. The role also covers policy implementation, planning, reporting, financial management, statutory compliance, and representing the organization to the outside world.

Responsibilities

Lead the overall development of children in the village, building positive relationships with them and acting as their legal guardian
Support youth in gaining skills and education for self-reliance and employability
Manage the village's finances and administration, including budgeting, monitoring, compliance and legal representation
Guide and support SOS mothers, ensuring a secure, high-quality family care workplace
