Services Support Associate II, India Payroll Data Maintenance

Work you'll do

As a Services Support Associate II, Payroll on the Financial Services Group – Payroll and Personnel Solutions team, you will be responsible for:

Handling employee lifecycle changes in accordance with established instructions, guidelines, and procedures.
Coordinating with stakeholders to obtain timely and accurate payroll and personnel data inputs.
Reviewing, processing, and maintaining onboarding, separation, transfer, compensation, and other employee master data changes.
Responding to payroll inquiries, identifying input exceptions, and supporting compliance with payroll, tax, and data privacy requirements.
Preparing periodic reports and supporting audit, tax compliance, financial reporting, process documentation, and continuous improvement activities.

This position is a part of Deloitte Consulting India Pvt Ltd, within the Financial Services Group – Payroll and Personnel Solutions service line. In the India paying team, the responsibilities assigned are in support of India Payroll activities of the Deloitte India offices across four locations - Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Gurgaon.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required:

Graduate in Finance.
1-3 years of experience in India payroll processing, data maintenance, accounting, and regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of India tax and statutory compliance requirements.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
Experience with payroll processing activities, analysis, and management reporting.
Typing speed of 45-50 words per minute with data entry capability of 7000 ksph with 5% or less errors.
