Company Description Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE), Hyderabad, is an autonomous institution founded by experienced professionals and industrialists in science, engineering, and technology with the mission “Education for Liberation.” Established in 1994 as the Institute of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, it initially offered certification programs approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Government of India. The institute expanded into a B.Tech program in Aeronautical Engineering in 2000 and now offers a broad range of programs from bachelor’s to doctoral levels across multiple disciplines. Role Description The Professor in Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) will lead teaching, research, and academic development in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Generative AI. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervising student projects and theses, mentoring junior faculty, and contributing to curriculum enhancement aligned with emerging technologies. The role involves conducting high-quality research, publishing in reputed journals and conferences, securing research funding, and fostering collaborations with industry and academic partners.





The professor will participate actively in departmental administration, accreditation processes, academic committees, and outreach activities that strengthen the institute’s academic reputation. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Hyderabad Area.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Generative AI, with a proven record of teaching and research in these domains.

Demonstrated experience in academic research, including publishing in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to conferences, and guiding research scholars at postgraduate and doctoral levels.

Proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools (such as Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, OpenCV) and experience applying them to real-world AI and ML problems.

Background in computer science fundamentals, data structures and algorithms, mathematics for AI/ML (linear algebra, probability, statistics), and software engineering practices.

Experience designing curricula, developing course materials, creating assessments, and using modern pedagogical approaches and educational technologies.

Strong mentoring, academic advising, and leadership skills, with the ability to support diverse learners and collaborate effectively with colleagues and interdisciplinary teams.

Minimum of a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related discipline, preferably with 20+ years of experience in academia or equivalent teaching and research experience.
