Production Supervisor:

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY

- To manage and perform shift activities to produce quality product. Achieve production and efficiency targets. Deliver quality products to the customers Managing the manpower (operators and contract workers, atleast 30), assigning the jobs to ensure smooth operation during his shift.
- Adherence to the production schedule given by Manager and same time ensuring optimal output in shift.
- Check production output according to specifications/ norms and also do data entry for OEE of the decided critical machine from RO. Responsible for the smooth running of the SHIFT production and also make sure that daily semi-finished WIP/FG to transfer smoothly by doing required ERP entry as per the define time.

- Coordinate with maintenance dept. to attend / rectify breakdowns in his shift.
- Coordination with stores to issue material / consumables as per production requirements.
- Strict adherences to quality standards for in process and finished goods.





- Plans and implements training for the operators.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety rules, procedures and PPEs during his shift.
- Motivates operators and contract workers to achieve and sustain production targets.

- Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and secure workplace every shift. Should have handled LTI & First Aid cases. Preferable exposure in EHS, SAP, ISO 9001, TQM, TPM, 5S.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Exposure in Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), 7 Waste. Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering/ manufacturing industry.

EDUCATION

- B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgy or Production Engineering.
