- What youll do (core) You will be responsible for supervising day-to-day production activities on the shop floor and ensuring that batches are executed safely, efficiently, and with discipline.

- This is a hands-on floor role requiring close coordination with production crew, quality, stores, and management.

- Shift Supervision: Manage daily production activities on the floor, deploy manpower properly, monitor line readiness, and ensure work is executed as per the production plan.

- Batch Execution: Supervise batch preparation, process flow, material usage, line handling, and packing coordination to ensure smooth execution of daily production targets.

- Output & Discipline: Track hourly progress, identify delays or stoppages early, and ensure operators and crew remain disciplined and productive during shifts.

- Coordination: Work closely with quality, stores, and supervisors to ensure material availability, hygiene compliance, correct handling, and timely issue resolution during production.

- Floor Control: Maintain order on the shop floor, reduce idle time, escalate breakdowns or process issues quickly, and ensure handoffs between activities are managed properly.

- Changeovers & Line Readiness: Support production start-up, product / packing changeovers, and line readiness checks to keep operations smooth and reduce confusion or downtime.

- Wastage & Rework Reduction: Observe material handling, operator behavior, and process discipline to help reduce avoidable losses, mishandling, and rework.

- Reporting: Maintain basic shift records, production logs, output updates, and issue reporting for management review.

- - Skills Thatll Make You Stand Out Production Handling: Understanding of shift supervision, batch execution, manpower deployment, and day-to-day production flow in a manufacturing setup.

- Shop-Floor Discipline: Ability to control live operations, manage crew, reduce idle time, and maintain order and urgency on the floor.

- Coordination: Strong practical coordination with quality, stores, maintenance, and management to solve daily execution issues quickly.

- Problem Solving: Ability to identify bottlenecks, delays, material gaps, or operator issues and escalate them in time.

- Documentation: Ability to maintain basic production records, shift updates, and reporting with discipline.

- Mindset: Hands-on, action-oriented, practical, dependable, and comfortable managing live floor activity under pressure.

- Ideal Candidate Profile Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. / Graduate in Food Technology, Production, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field preferred.

- 2 to 6 years of experience in production supervision, line supervision, or manufacturing operations in food, snacks, bakery, FMCG, nutraceutical, pharma, or related industries.

- Experience handling manpower on the shop floor and driving daily output.

- Comfortable working in a quick-moving manufacturing environment with practical ownership of shift-level execution.

- Candidates with food manufacturing exposure will be preferred, but practical supervisors from adjacent manufacturing sectors may also be considered.
