Business Development Manager

About The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will make an impact by leading pre-sales and business pursuit efforts, including RFPs, RFIs, client presentations, pricing inputs, proposal development, and go-to-market support. You will be a valued member of the Business Development team and work collaboratively with sales, account teams, solution design teams, commercial teams, technology stakeholders, and other cross-functional groups to support winning business outcomes.

In This Role, You Will

Own and manage business pursuit efforts, including RFPs, RFIs, presentations, proposals, pricing inputs, estimations, and related sales collateral.
Partner with sales, account, technical, solution design, commercial, transition, consulting,



and skilled services teams to manage stakeholder expectations throughout the pursuit cycle.
Identify market trends, customer pain points, competitive positioning, and business opportunities to strengthen Cognizant's value proposition.
Create and maintain reusable proposal components, marketing collateral, case studies, white papers, solution accelerators, brochures, and client-facing presentations.
Support client visits, competency presentations, knowledge management initiatives, and business development activities that improve response quality and accelerate time-to-market.
