Full job description

We are seeking a skilled woodworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in woodworking, furniture building, cutting board production and a strong understanding and respect for woodworking tools, equipment and machinery. Secondary responsibilities would include material handling and purchasing duties for the right individual. This role requires attention to detail, a desire to constantly learn, a passion for craftsmanship, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We work on a variety of high-end custom projects, so if you enjoy being challenged on a daily basis, researching new tools/methods/products, and working with a small, highly motivated team, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities





Build custom furniture, cutting boards and other associated products for our retail store, including product development
Assist in cabinet preparation and assembly as needed
Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring that all items meet company standards before delivery.
Collaborate with carpenters and other team members to understand project specifications and timelines.
Read and interpret drawings and specifications to accurately complete projects.
Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of cabinetry and furniture pieces during the finishing process, as well as operate a forklift and perform other material handling responsibilities
Purchase/reorder shop supplies, maintain and replenish stock room
Ability to operate table saw, resaw, jointer, planer, and various woodworking tools
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
