This role is with KPMG Global Services Delivery Platform, Advisory, Managed Services Team.

The role requires presence in office (onsite) on all 5 days, and to be able to operate between 2-1030 PM (IST) shifts.

Responsibilities:

Lead large complex engagements in the F&A; operations workplace, build and run part of engagement/projects and deliver the objectives agreed with the client and onshore stakeholders
Manage large teams (20-30) in the delivery of services and oversee complex financial reconciliations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive process improvements
Supervise and mentor a team responsible for performing daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of financial transactions, including bank, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts
Investigate discrepancies and variances, ensuring timely resolution and accurate financial reporting
Maintain reconciliation reports and documentation in compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Identify opportunities for both process and technology improvements,



develop ideas to utilize R2R tools like BlackLine, Trintech or Workiva with additional understanding of AI tools for innovation
Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Understand client policy and procedures and its application on engagement delivery.
Monitor actual performance against plan and make decisions to ensure business objectives are achieved.
Maintenance of Service Levels of the team and by overall engagement encompassing productivity, quality-based outcomes, thus, ensuring high level of customer service at all times
Transition and project set-up in KGS, working in collaboration with internal, onshore and client stakeholders, involving key aspects viz. resourcing, technology set-up, knowledge transfer etc., and leading project to BAU mode in smooth and seamless manner.
