A Day in the Life
As a Senior R&D; Engineer, you will support the development of healthcare technologies by providing advanced structural simulation and engineering analysis that guide product design decisions. This role is responsible for independently planning and executing finite element analyses (FEA), translating design challenges into simulation strategies, and delivering data-driven recommendations that influence product performance, reliability, and safety. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Test, Manufacturing, and Quality, you will apply engineering fundamentals, analytical methods,



and practical judgment to solve complex mechanical problems. You will also contribute to technical excellence through mentoring junior engineers and reviewing analysis activities. This position is based in Hyderabad, India and requires collaboration with global stakeholders across multiple functional disciplines.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Independently develop finite element models from CAD geometry and execute medium-complexity structural simulations with minimal supervision.
Perform linear and non-linear static analyses involving contact, large deformation, and material plasticity to support product development activities.
Define simulation strategies, assumptions, boundary conditions, contact definitions, and material models based on design requirements.
Conduct engineering calculations, free body diagram analyses, and first-principles evalu
