Position Summary

Are you an external communications / PR professional who is a creative thinker, enjoys building relationships, and wants to learn how to tie PR efforts to business objectives and growth? This external communications skilled will help support media relations strategy, planning and execution, with a focus on coordinating initiatives across various business and industry teams. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the positioning of organizations across key media channels, the ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of a matrixed organization (including agency partners), and a desire to contribute to innovation that helps advance the external communications team.

Work you'll do

As a Specialist Assistant Manager Communications on the External Communications & PR team, you will be responsible for:

Supporting leadership, business, marketing, and stakeholder teams on external communications initiatives tied to strategic growth priorities.




Contributing to external communications strategies and campaign execution to strengthen Deloitte’s brand in the marketplace.
Developing and coordinating media relations content and assets, including news releases, blog posts, pitches, and interview talking points.
Tracking news trends, identifying relevant reporters and media opportunities, and supporting pitches for Deloitte leaders, thought leadership, and client impact stories.
Using communications platforms and measurement tools, including Muck Rack and Meltwater, to support execution, reporting, and innovation across external communications activities.
