About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior MEP Design Engineer who can independently manage multidisciplinary building-services design and guide a small team of engineering interns.
The candidate should have robust practical experience in MEP consultancy, particularly in:
Electrical design
Plumbing and public-health engineering
Firefighting and fire-protection systems
AutoCAD and BIM coordination
Design documentation and technical reporting
Intern supervision and work review
The candidate will be responsible for both technical design work and the day-to-day guidance, training, and quality control of interns working under the MEP team.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Design
Internal and external electrical design
Electrical load calculations
Demand and diversity calculations
Preparation of single-line diagrams
Cable sizing and voltage-drop calculations
Transformer, DG and UPS sizing
Lighting and power layouts
Panel schedules
Earthing and lightning-protection design
Electrical infrastructure planning
HT and LT distribution-system coordination
Preparation of electrical Design Basis Reports
BOQ, specifications and tender documentation
ELV and Communication Systems
CCTV
Access control
Data and voice systems
Public-address systems
Intercom
Structured cabling
Fire-alarm integration
BMS coordination
ELV layouts, schematics and riser diagrams
Fire Detection and Fire Protection
Fire-alarm layouts and loop
