Production Head – Food Manufacturing

Location: Keel Ayanambakkam, Chennai

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹75,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Production Head to oversee manufacturing operations at our food production facility. This position is responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring product quality, leading production teams, and maintaining smooth day-to-day manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily production operations to ensure timely completion of production schedules.
- Lead production teams and provide operational guidance to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor production performance and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with quality, maintenance, procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams.
- Monitor raw material utilization and support effective inventory management.
- Oversee equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Review production reports and operational metrics to improve productivity.
- Maintain accurate production records and support continuous operational improvements.
- Promote a safe, organized, and productive work environment.





Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–15 years of experience in food manufacturing or production operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing manufacturing teams and production processes.
- Strong knowledge of food manufacturing practices and quality systems.
- Good leadership, planning, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience using ERP systems or production management software is an added advantage.
- Ability to communicate in Hindi is preferred.
