- Sr Engineer / Engineer (Fabrication Shop) - Work Preparation and Order Validation - Capacity and Capability assessment - Daily Shopfloor Engagement - Safety & 5S Compliance - Performance & Quality Assurance - Employee Support & Issue ResolutionProduction Engineer will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the Fabrication shop, which includes Cutting/Rolling Shop, Welding and Grinding section, NDT, Conventional / CNC machines, Paint shop.

- Reporting to the Production Manager, the engineer will ensure that all scheduled work orders are executed efficiently by validating process requirements, confirming the availability of Raw Materials, and assessing machine capability for new jobs.

- The role requires close monitoring of production schedules, cycle times, and resource utilization to maintain productivity while upholding strict quality standards.

- The Production Engineer will lead daily huddles with area in‑charges and operators to address concerns related to safety, 5S, performance, and quality, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with workplace discipline.

- They will be expected to train and guide operators in all sections, while encouraging cross‑skilling to enhance workforce flexibility.

- In addition, the Production Engineer will be responsible for getting the inspections conducted, ensuring dimensional accuracy, and validating first‑piece approvals to meet customer and ISO/TS quality requirements.





- This position demands strong leadership and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.

- The Production Engineer will act as a critical link between shopfloor execution and higher management, ensuring that production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and with consistent quality, while maintaining high levels of employee engagement and morale.

Your profile

- Engineering Graduate (Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering)

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Welding Engineering

- Experience 4 to 6 yrs
