We’re hiring: Founding Product Engineering Intern — AI, Next.js & Chrome Extensions

StitchMagic is building practical tools for Indian marketplace sellers, boutiques and small fashion businesses. We already have meaningful organic traffic from image tools; now we’re building paid seller products: catalog-to-content generation, listing tools, creative templates, WhatsApp workflows and an extension-assisted publishing workflow.

This is not a “make slides and research” internship. You will ship real product features used by real sellers.

What you’ll build

- Next.js/React product features for StitchMagic
- Browser-based image, collage, price-tag and creative-generation tools using Canvas
- Seller Content Agent workflows: catalog → posts, captions, WhatsApp creatives, Reels and content calendar
- Chrome Extension (Manifest V3) for assisted Instagram/YouTube scheduling workflows
- Integrations with payment, WhatsApp API and AI/LLM APIs
- Clean mobile-first interfaces for an India-first audience
- Analytics events, experiments and conversion funnels

What we’re looking for
- Strong basics in JavaScript/TypeScript, React and Next.js
- Comfortable building and debugging independently
- Familiar with APIs, JSON, Git and responsive UI
- Bonus:



Chrome extensions, Canvas/image processing, FFmpeg/video, AI APIs, Supabase/Firebase, Razorpay or WhatsApp API
- You care about product outcomes, not just completing tickets
- Able to move fast, communicate clearly and use AI coding tools responsibly

Important: you do not need to know every item above. A robust builder who can learn quickly is more valuable than someone with many certificates.

Internship details

- Duration: 3 months
- Mode: Remote / [City, if hybrid]
- Time: [ 40 hours per week]
- PPO / long-term role possible for a high-performing intern
- You will work directly with the founder and own visible modules end to end

First 30-day outcomes
1. Ship one production-ready free seller tool.
2. Build the first Content Agent campaign flow: product images → branded post/caption → export.
3. Add event tracking for activation, exports and paid conversion.
4. Help prototype the Chrome Extension side panel for scheduling assistance.
