Role Summary

This role oversees the development of objectives, policies and procedures for procurement and sourcing operations to ensure operational efficiency. Additionally, this role drives strategic sourcing initiatives and strengthens vendor partnerships to optimize cost, quality, and service outcomes.

Responsibilities

Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew.



Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
Oversees sourcing operations by drafting, reviewing, analyzing, modifying and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts
Acts as escalation point for issues with contract negotiations, providing guidance to inform decisions.
Contributes to the development and improvement of form agreements and templates to streamline negotiation process.
Interprets and communicates contract requirements, obligations, and risk exposures to key stakeholders, including sourcing professionals and business leaders.
Educates key stakeholders about commercial, legal, policy and other considerations in support of the negotiation process.
