The Regional Head of GenFX is responsible for the operational leadership, craft quality and team health of GenFX within their region. Where the Global Head defines the vision, strategy and standards for GenFX studio-wide, the Regional Head ensures those standards are executed consistently across every show and every artist within their territory.

This is a hands-on leadership role that demands someone equally comfortable reviewing shots in dailies, troubleshooting a technical pipeline failure, coaching a Lead or Supervisor through a difficult conversation or presenting regional plans to production heads and leadership. The Regional Head is the person who makes GenFX work day-to-day in the reality of overlapping shows, shifting priorities, evolving tools and artists at varying stages of proficiency.





The Regional Head is a craft leader with deep technical credibility who can step into any show-level conversation and add value. They translate global strategy into regional plans, adapt global standards to local production realities, and feed ground-level intelligence back to the Global Head to inform studio-wide decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Creative & Technical

Maintain technical fluency across the GenFX toolset, able to evaluate Supervisor-level creative and technical decisions, troubleshoot escalated pipeline issues and provide credible craft direction when needed.
Oversee the creative and technical quality of all GenFX output across shows in the region, ensuring consistency with global quality standards and show-specific directions.
Support GenFX Supervisors on complex creative or technical challenges, serving as an escalation point without undermining their show-level authority.
