• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports for
Linux and IoT products.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, interoperability, and
system-level testing.
• Validate communication protocols such as MQTT, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, Zigbee,
Matter, Thread, BLE, and Wi-Fi.

•Hands on experience in Python programming and Katalon or similar tools.

• Hands-on experience in virtual device simulation, hardware emulation, and
software-based testing environments to validate embedded firmware and IoT device
functionality prior to hardware availability.
• Analyze network traffic and protocol behavior using tools such as Wireshark
and packet sniffers.
• Validate device commissioning, provisioning, OTA firmware updates, and cloud
connectivity.
• Perform end-to-end validation of device, gateway, cloud, and mobile
application interactions.
• Develop Shell/Bash scripts for test automation, log collection, and validation
activities.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with
development teams for issue resolution.




• Validate security features including authentication, encryption, certificate
management, and secure communication.
• Participate in certification and compliance testing activities.
• Maintain test environments, automation frameworks, and validation setups.

Required Skills
• Experience in testing and validation of IoT products.
• Experience in writing Python scripts.
• Experience in Katalon or similar tools.
• Robust understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP,
DNS, TLS/SSL).
• Experience using Wireshark, tcpdump, and other protocol analysis tools.
• Understanding of IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, Zigbee, Matter,
Thread, BLE, and Wi-Fi.
• Experience in log analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation.
• Knowledge of test methodologies including functional, regression, integration,
and system testing.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure
