About the role.
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Application Engineering (MES) to provide technical leadership for McCain’s Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) strategy and implementation. This role will be instrumental in building and scaling a current MES capability, with a primary focus on the deployment, optimization, and long-term sustainability of the Parsec TrakSYS platform across manufacturing operations.
As a senior technology leader, you will guide solution architecture, technical standards, integration strategies, and application engineering practices while partnering closely with manufacturing, operations, and enterprise technology teams to deliver scalable and reliable MES solutions that drive operational excellence.
What you’ll be doing.
Provide technical leadership for the design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Serve as a subject matter expert for the Parsec TrakSYS platform,
including configuration, customization, extension development, and platform administration.
Define and evaluate MES architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with long-term business objectives.
Review technical designs, custom development efforts, and coding standards to ensure quality, performance, and supportability.
Lead the integration of MES solutions with ERP, automation, historian, quality management, and other enterprise systems.
Partner with manufacturing stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
Drive application engineering best practices, technical governance, and system lifecycle management.
Analyze complex and highly customized MES environments, identifying opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve sustainability.
