Role Description
The Sales and Applications Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth in the West India region by combining technical/applications expertise with sales execution. This full time,
on-site role based in Ahmedabad involves engaging with clients — including research institutions, semiconductor and electronics manufacturers, and industrial customers — to understand their process and application requirements, recommending suitable equipment, conducting product demonstrations, and driving the sales process from lead to closure. You will also serve as the technical point of contact post-sale, supporting installation coordination, application troubleshooting, and building long-term client relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities across academic, government R&D;, and private manufacturing accounts in the West India territory
Understand client applications and process requirements to recommend the right equipment/solution from HCP's OEM portfolio
