As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Procurement Specialist with a background in Manufacturing or FMCG to join our procurement team in Djibouti.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2–5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing engineering materials, spare parts, industrial equipment and production-related items to support manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supplier management, negotiation and ensuring uninterrupted supply to production and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities




Source and procure engineering materials, industrial equipment, spare parts, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) items and production consumables.
Identify, evaluate and develop reliable local and international suppliers.
Obtain quotations, evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate pricing and recommend cost-effective procurement solutions.
Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders and procurement documentation.
Coordinate closely with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Warehouse and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement.
Monitor supplier performance with respect to quality, cost and delivery.
Follow up on purchase orders and resolve supplier-related issues, including delivery delays and quality concerns.
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases and documentation.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company procurement policies and procedures.
