Business Analyst – KYC, AML & Sanctions Experience: 7+ Years

Location: Mumbai, India -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with solid domain expertise in KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and Sanctions screening. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in process mapping,

optimization, and automation, and will play a key role in bridging business needs with technology solutions. This role requires someone who can translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into actionable deliverables, while also guiding development teams from a process automation perspective. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Documentation Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across KYC, AML, and Sanctions processes.

Develop high-quality documentation including:

Business Requirements Documents (BRD) Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) User Stories and Use Cases Work closely with stakeholders to ensure requirements are clear, complete, and aligned with business goals.





Process

Mapping & Optimization Lead process discovery, mapping (As-Is and To-Be), and optimization initiatives.

Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements through automation or redesign.

Use tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or BPM tools for process modeling. Automation & Solutioning Collaborate with technology teams to implement process automation solutions.

Provide functional guidance to developers on:

Workflow automation RPA use cases Business rules and decision logic Ensure business processes are effectively translated into scalable automation solutions.

Stakeholder

Management Work closely with business users, compliance teams, and technology stakeholders.

Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and solution walkthroughs.

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership. Testing & UAT Prepare UAT strategy, test scenarios, and test cases.

Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and compliance standards
