Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Process Engineer with 45 years of hands-on experience in the design, operation, and optimization of water and wastewater treatment systems, including ETP, STP, WTP, RO, UF, DM, ZLD, and HRSCC. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in process design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance improvement of treatment plants, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and review process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs;) for water and wastewater treatment plants.

- Provide process design inputs for ETP, STP, WTP, and advanced systems like Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ultrafiltration (UF), De-mineralization (DM), Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), and High Rate Solid Contact Clarifiers (HRSCC).

- Lead and support plant commissioning, performance trials, and process optimization efforts.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process upsets or inefficiencies.

- Collaborate with project, design, and execution teams to ensure alignment of process parameters with project requirements.

- Prepare process calculations,



mass balances, chemical dosing calculations, and equipment sizing.

- Assist in preparing operation and maintenance manuals, SOPs, and training materials for plant operations.

- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and discharge norms.

- Monitor key performance indicators and develop action plans to improve plant performance.

- Support client interactions, technical presentations, and project documentation.

Required Skills and Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of wastewater and water treatment processes, particularly in ETP, STP, WTP, RO, UF, DM, ZLD, HRSCC.

- Familiarity with national and international environmental standards and discharge norms.

- Proficient in process simulation tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Good understanding of chemical dosing, biological treatment, and membrane technologies.

- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team setting.
