Role Overview
We are seeking a Qualdev Architect to define and drive quality strategy for
complex, data-driven
enterprise SaaS platforms. This role focuses on backend, API, validation testing
across
distributed systems, analytics platforms, and automation-heavy environments. The
ideal
candidate is a robust quality leader with deep test automation expertise,
capable of influencing
engineering practices and ensuring high reliability, scalability, and security
of modern SaaS platforms.
Work mode: Hybrid (3 days WFO at Noida, Gurgaon)
Key Responsibilities
Quality Architecture & Strategy
Define and own the end-to-end QA architecture and quality roadmap.
Drive automation-first and shift-left testing practices aligned with CI/CD
pipelines.
Design scalable quality strategies for distributed systems, microservices, APIs,
and datadriven platforms.
Establish quality standards, governance, and release readiness processes.
Test Automation
* Architect, implement, and evolve robust automation frameworks for backend and
API testing.
Lead automation for:
* API testing (REST,
event-driven systems)
* Backend services and workflows
* Ensure strong automation coverage across functional, integration, and
regression testing.
* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality
feedback.
* Improve test reliability, execution speed, scalability, and maintainability.
* Evaluate and standardize tools, frameworks, and best practices.
Leadership & Collaboration
Act as a technical leader and mentor for QA engineers and SDETs.
Coach teams on test automation, architecture, and quality mindset.
Partner closely with engineering, product, and platform teams to ensure quality
by design.
Influence stakeholders on quality risks, trade-offs, and technical decisions.
Lead quality reviews and readiness for releases.
Non-Functional Testing
Define and oversee performance, scalability, resiliency, and reliability
testing.
