Role : Principal Engineer - AI Platform Track

About the Role :

We are looking for a strong Platform Engineer to help build the core AI infrastructure powering PeopleStrongs next-generation AI products. You will work on foundational systems that power AI products at scale across 500 enterprises and 2M employees. You will help design and build highly scalable, reliable, and production-grade AI platform infrastructure that multiple product teams will build on top of.

What Youll Work On :

- Transactional API Platform
- MCP Platform
- Agent System of Record
- Enterprise-scale multi-agent infrastructure
- Distributed backend systems with real production SLAs
- Scalable orchestration and runtime systems for AI agents

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build scalable backend platform infrastructure for enterprise AI systems
- Architect distributed systems with strong focus on resiliency, scalability, concurrency, and multi-tenancy
- Build production-grade APIs, platform services, and orchestration layers
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define platform capabilities and standards
- Improve system reliability, observability, performance, and fault tolerance
- Drive engineering excellence, system design reviews, and architecture decisions
- Mentor engineers and contribute to long-term platform strategy

Tech Stack :

- Go / JVM / Rust




- Spring Boot
- Kafka & event-driven systems
- Python (good production-level understanding preferred)

What Were Looking For :

- Strong backend and platform engineering experience
- Proven experience building large-scale distributed systems with real SLAs
- Strong understanding of concurrency, scalability, resiliency, and failure handling
- Strong understanding of API architecture and platform engineering principles
- Experience with cloud-native systems and microservices architecture
- Exposure to agentic systems, orchestration frameworks, or AI infrastructure is a solid plus

Good to Have :

- Experience working on : Agent orchestration, Context engineering, Tool execution frameworks, Evaluation systems & observability, RBAC and multi-tenant architectures
- Familiarity with modern AI infrastructure patterns and LLM systems
